Who we are
Faceless Video Studio's tools are run by the studio's owner for the studio's own YouTube channels. They are not offered to the public. Contact: aldiver.alcoriza@gmail.com.
What the tools do
- The Faceless Video Studio uploader runs on the owner's computer and uploads the owner's own animated videos, titles, descriptions, tags and thumbnails to the owner's own YouTube channels, using the YouTube Data API.
- The Faceless Video Studio dashboard reads the owner's own channel and video statistics through the YouTube Data API, YouTube Analytics API and YouTube Reporting API and shows them to the owner only.
What data we access and why
- Channel name and ID: to make sure each video goes to the right channel, and to label each channel in the dashboard.
- Upload access (scopes
youtube.upload, youtube; uploader only): to upload the studio's videos and set their thumbnails and playlists on the owner's channels. - Read-only channel and video statistics (scopes
youtube.readonly,yt-analytics.readonly,yt-analytics-monetary.readonly; dashboard only): video titles and thumbnails, views, watch time, audience retention, impressions, click-through rate, likes, comments and shares counts, subscribers gained and lost, and, for monetized channels, estimated revenue. Used only to show the owner how the videos perform. - Your Google account email address (scopes
openid, email), when you sign in to the dashboard: to check that you are the owner. Anyone else is turned away.
We do not access viewers' personal data, comments' authors, subscribers' identities or any other user's account.
How we store and protect it
- Upload sign-in tokens are stored only on the owner's computer, in a folder excluded from version control.
- Dashboard sign-in tokens are encrypted (AES-GCM) in the owner's own Cloudflare account. Dashboard access is limited to the owner's email.
- Channel and video statistics are stored in the owner's Cloudflare D1 database. All traffic uses HTTPS.
- The email of a signed-in user is kept only in a signed sign-in cookie in that user's browser. It is not stored in the database.
How long we keep it
- Statistics and dashboard tokens: for as long as the dashboard runs. Removing a channel in the dashboard deletes that channel's token and statistics at once. Deleting the dashboard deletes all of it.
- Sign-in cookie: 30 days, or until you sign out.
- Sync logs: 30 days. Cloudflare's request logs, which can include the email of a sign-in attempt: up to 7 days.
- Upload tokens: until the owner deletes them or revokes access.
Sharing
We do not sell, share, or transfer YouTube or Google user data to anyone, and do not use it for advertising. Cloudflare hosts the dashboard and stores its data on the owner's behalf.
Faceless Video Studio's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Deleting data and revoking access
- Remove these tools' access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions (or the Brand Account's permissions page). After that the tools can no longer read or upload anything.
- Removing a channel in the dashboard deletes its stored statistics and token. Deleting the dashboard deletes all its data; deleting the token files removes upload access.
- You can also ask for deletion by email (below).
YouTube API Services
These tools use YouTube API Services. By using them you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's Privacy Policy applies to data Google processes.
